About the Artist
Caroline Burke is a Creative Arts Therapist (permit eligible) currently based in New York City. She completed her Bachelor’s degrees in Applied Psychology & Human Development and Studio Art at Boston College in 2024, and graduated with her M.A. in Art Therapy from New York University in 2026.
In May, 2024, she presented her Senior Thesis project, Emergence, and received Boston College’s Mary Armstrong Award in Art for her dedication to her studio practice.
Through clinical practice in art therapy, Caroline utilizes art making and human-centered techniques to respond to the diverse psychological needs of clients navigating adverse life experiences and mental health pathology. She understands art as a tool to increase accessibility to mental health care.
Caroline finds inspiration through her experiences as a mental health practitioner, the beauty of nature, and the intricacies of the human form.
